I know they call this time of year the holiday season, but honestly? It’s more like the party season! My calendar is filled through the end of the year with lots of different events, it’s almost hard to keep track.
One thing I always know to keep track of? Thanking the hostess! Whether it’s a casual get-together or a big formal Christmas party, I never arrive empty-handed. Everybody has to deal with dry, cracked hands in the winter, and everybody always seems to be short on hand cream! Winding down with a good book (and maybe a glass of wine!) is the perfect way to end a busy day. My latest obsession is American Royals by Katharine McGee. I couldn’t put it down – and now I picked up a couple of copies to give out as hostess gifts this year.

Dry shampoo is everybody’s secret weapon. It gives greasy hair new life and just the right amount of good texture. Joico’s Weekend Hair is my new fave. The finish…the scent…everything about it is perfect! I know all of my friends are going to love it too.
