5 Reasons to go to the Catalina Wine Mixer This Weekend

If you are a fan of Step Brothers, then you must be familiar with the Catalina Wine Mixer!  If you are reading this right now and you have no idea what I’m talking about, then you should still go to the Catalina Wine Mixer.  Here’s why:

Wine Tasting and Live Entertainment

Catalina Island took note of this movie and scene’s popularity and decided to actually host the Catalina Wine Mixer as a fun weekend on Catalina Island.  Yes, you can really lease a helicopter.  There is tons of amazing live entertainment and great music all weekend long. This year G. Love and the Special Sauce and the Dan Band are both headlining.  And you can’t have a wine mixer without wine, so get ready for a fun weekend of vino.

Weekend Vibes

If you live in Southern California, like awesome wine, great music, delicious food and a weekend of fun, then you really are in for the perfect weekend.  I love staying at the Pavilion Hotel right on the water.  You can walk to all of the events, the rooms are great and they have a lovely wine and cheese hour as well as complimentary breakfast.

Catalina Island is Wonderful

If you live in Los Angeles or Orange County, Catalina is so easy to get to on the Catalina Express.  And if you need a break from the Catalina Wine Mixer, there are so many fun things to do.  Enjoy a spa treatment, go for a wonderful hike, eat at one of the many delicious restaurants or just stroll around town.
