Oscar who? When it comes to fashion, we wait all year to see what designs Hollywood’s elite will strut down the biggest red carpet in the world…. The Oscars! There were some serious trends at this year’s celebration, so let’s take a look:
Shimmer and Sparkle
Sparkling gowns were easily one of the biggest trends of the night as you can see here on some major stars!
Jessica Chastain was pure heaven in a nude Armani Privé couture gown. Jennifer Hudson worked it in a long sleeve, deep teal gown by Roberto Cavalli. And Stacy Keibler made her mark in a stunning, body-hugging Naeem Khan dress that her bf George Clooney joked he did all the bead work on.
Armani Privé was another trend on the red carpet as you can see from Naomi Watts daring dress. Talk about a perfect fit on both her and Chastain! Catherine Zeta-Jones worked the sparkle trend her Oscar gold Zuhair Murad and Nicole Kidman gleamed in L’Wren Scott.
A Listers also went White Hot this year, but no one did it as well as Jennifer Lawrence in Dior. A ++++!! Could I be more obsessed with her?
She also rocked another trend, the Backwards Necklace. I’m a big fan of this! Anne Hathaway also worked this trend in her Prada gown. Take a look:
Now there was a negative reaction to Hathaways’ gown online. What do you think? Also a new twitter handle started in honor of her nipples. Remember J. Lo’s from last year 
And finally, a look we’ve seen really all awards season Side Swept Hair. No one did this better than Reese Witherspoon tonight. There is a reason E!’s Giuliana Rancic was such a fan. It’s looks fabulous!
I’d also like to give a special shout out to Halle Berry for redeeming herself from the Golden Globes in this killer Versace dress. You are the ultimate Bond Girl!
