How to Make Green Beer for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here! That means it’s time to put on your favorite green attire and let loose .. hey, this is totally an adults holiday … if you know what I mean 🙂  I’m sure you will be taking in some green beer, some of you might even be throwing a St. Patrick’s day shindig! If you’d like to make your party super festive then you can make your own green beer.

How to Make Green Beer for St. Patrick’s Day:

  1. Use a light-colored beer such as a pilsner or pale ale. The lighter the beer, the brighter the color. …
  2. Add beer to the coloring. To avoid flat beer, grab a pint glass and squeeze in 3- 5 drops of green food coloring. …
  3. Stick with liquid green food coloring that comes in the little squeeze bottles.

Watch me put my green beer skills to the test:

Clearly I am not DIY material.  Did I mention this was for dummies? Because I clearly added too much green food coloring, so don’t do what I did and use a dropper!  A little goes a loooooooong way!

Have a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day everybody! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do 🙂
