London Travel Guide: 5 Fun Things to do in London

Right now is the time to plan your Spring vacation! If you’ve been lusting after London, then you are in the right place. I spent a wonderful week in London last April and have you covered!

London Travel Guide: 5 Fun Things to do in London

1. Visit the Tower of London

From the Crown Jewels to the Torture Tower, there is so much history to take in!  Head here first thing in the morning to beat the crowds and take a tour with a famous Beefeater, the ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London.

2. Go see the Changing the Guard

Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace is a colorful spectacle full of British pageantry! The ceremony lasts about 45 minutes and usually takes place daily at 11:30 from April until the end of July and on alternate days for the rest of the year, weather permitting.  It is crazy crowded and selfie sticks are everywhere, but it is worth it!

3. Enjoy Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is a must in London!  There are so many choices from classics to unique experiences.  I suggest booking a table at Sketch for a one of a kind experience.  It’s David Shrigley’s Gallery and just using the restroom is an experience itself!

4. Go see as show on London’s West End

You simply must catch a show at London’s West End!  I caught Miss Saigon and loved it!  There is an incredible mix of musicals and plays with big headliners! Afterwords, you might want to find yourself an escort for the night. You can click here to see asian escorts in London for more information.

5. Grab a beer in a pub

You can’t visiting London without grabbing a beer in a pub!  Many of the pubs are full of history with famous regulars.  I’d make an afternoon of it and join a pub crawl or create your own.
